Do I need an ultrasound?
A home pregnancy test is an indicator of pregnancy, but it is not a confirmation. An obstetric ultrasound can help determine:

Do you need an ultrasound before an abortion?

For your health and safety, it's important to rule out an ectopic pregnancy and talk to a nurse about your health history and medications. An ultrasound can also help determine the cost and type of an abortion.
What do I need before my appointment?
Before receiving an ultrasound referral, we will provide you with a free pregnancy test at our center. If the test is positive, you will receive a referral to medical office that is able to provide you with a no-cost ultrasound.
